SIMSBURY, CONN. – Just six Westfield wrestlers competed in the championship division, but four Bombers made it to the finals of the Frank Chaves Invitational in Simsbury, Conn., on Saturday – seniors Jordan Hanechak (157 pounds), Matthew Robinson (175), Cooper McNamara (190), and Nicholas Gauger (215).
Gauger dismantled Simsbury’s Brett Osborne in the finals, winning the championship by major decision, 13-1.
