A month-long closure of the Sumner Tunnel in Boston wrapped up last week, but maintenance on the vital roadway will continue over several weekends through the end of the summer.
The tunnel connects East Boston to Downtown Boston on Route 1A South. It takes drivers under the harbor from Logan Airport into the city and to Interstate 93 North.
