Stolen French Bulldog reunited with Boston family

A French Bulldog named Bodega that police say was dognapped by two unknown people last week was reunited with its family, according to Boston police.

Bodega was picked up by two people on a scooter around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Ceylon Street in Dorchester. The pair were last seen with the dog near Quincy and Ceylon streets, police wrote in a statement.

Police announced Monday night that the dog had been reunited with its human family.

An investigation into the dognapping is ongoing and no arrests have been made. Police published a surveillance image of the two people believed to be responsible for the incident.

Police urge anyone with information about the two individuals to call them at 617-343-4275. People can also call the police anonymously at the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME 27463.
