SPRINGFIELD – Six of seven boat access facilities on the Connecticut River that closed July 12 due to flood waters and hazards are open again, the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game said Monday.

The Route 63 boat ramp in Northfield will remain closed until more cleanup of sediment and debris is completed.

Ramps that have reopened include Syrek Street and Medina Street in Chicopee as well as access points in Sunderland, Gill, Hatfield and Easthampton.
