SPRINGFIELD — The state Department of Agriculture kicked off the first Urban Agriculture Week in the Commonwealth with a visit to Gardening the Community Farm Store on Sunday.
Ashley Randall, commissioner of agriculture, was joined by state Sen. Adam Gomez, City Councilor Melvin Edwards and Jesse Lederman, regional director for U.S. Sen. Edward Markey at the store on 200 Walnut St.
