SPRINGFIELD — The state will open the John H. Thomas Memorial Pool on Thursday to help people cool down as temperatures soar into the high 90s for the third straight day.
The pool, located at the corner of Roosevelt and Blunt Park Road, will operate from 11:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, state officials said.
