SPRINGFIELD — Municipal trash, recycling and yard waste collection on Friday will begin at 4:30 a.m. because of the anticipated heat and humidity.
Residents who have scheduled bulk collection should also have items curbside by 4:30 a.m., as well, according to the city’s Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division.
The DPW apologizes for any inconvenience.
