SPRINGFIELD — Superintendent Sonia Dinnall walked into the John J. Duggan Academy, greeting educators and students alike with “Happy New Year.”
While the official holiday might be five months away, for Dinnall and more than 23,000 students in preschool through grade 12, it is truly the start of the new year at the schools.
