SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Police Department Superintendent Lawrence E. Akers recently commended over a dozen officers for their exemplary performance and service to the community.
On Tuesday, Akers commended several officers, including Officers Jorge Caldero, Alexander Rodriguez, Kimberly Ledgister, Aisha Gonzalez and Nashai Quintana, for their lifesaving actions two months ago.
