CHARLOTTE — Kevin Jackson sat inside his dorm room on a Saturday night at the University of Maine in late November and watched TV with a roommate and a friend.
The group put on the Virginia Tech vs. Virginia college football game on ESPN. Jackson’s friend and roommate passively watched the game, but Jackson was locked into every second, especially when the Hokies had the ball.
