SPRINGFIELD — One person was killed in a crash on Interstate-91 Tuesday afternoon.
The crash took place at about 4:30 p.m. northbound near Exit 5 in Springfield, Massachusetts State Police officials said.
State Police troopers assigned to the Springfield barracks initially responded and provided emergency medical care. When paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after, they determined the victim had died, police said.
