During Special Town Meeting being held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Southwick Regional School, residents will be asked to vote on five warrant articles.
Article 1 will ask voters to allocate $155,000 of Community Preservation Committee funds from its unreserved account to pay for the architectural design and construction administration fees for the rehabilitation of the historic section of Town Hall.
In April 2023 an organizer of the annual art show arrived at Town Hall on a Sunday morning to get things ready and noticed water pooling on the floor of a conference room at the front of the historic building. Over five inches of rain was recorded in town earlier that morning.
