SOUTHWICK — It took a few meetings, but the Select Board agreed on who should sit on the selection committee to assist in appointing a new chief administrative officer to replace the retiring Karl Stinehart.
“I’m glad we were able to build a consensus on this,” said Select Board Chair Doug Moglin after the other members, Jason Perron and Diane Gale, agreed to the seven-person committee.
When Moglin first broached the subject of who should sit on the committee, he had suggested the police chief, a member of the Select Board, the chairs of the Planning Board and Finance Committee, and the town moderator.
