SOUTHWICK — Often looking other-worldly, mushrooms can be eaten — they are nutrient rich — but they can also make one sick or worse and for those who want to learn the difference, the Southwick Land Trust is holding is debuting its free lecture series featuring fungi expert Jonathan Franz.
Kranz, vice president of the Boston Mycological Club and board member of the Pioneer Valley Mycological Association, will present “Mushrooms, Mushrooms, Mushrooms!” at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, at the Bar Shoppe on Point Grove Road, according to the trust’s Maryssa Cook-Obregon.
