WESTFIELD – Westfield senior Shea Hurley, who we last saw leaping off the mound to celebrate a softball championship as the team’s ace pitcher last spring, earned more accolades Thursday, thanks largely to a dominating effort that propelled her field hockey team to victory.
Shea Hurley delivered one goal and one assist and Aubrey Cigal scored twice to lead the Westfield field hockey team past Turners Falls, 4-1, in a Valley League game Thursday at home.
