Shark Week has businesses across the state celebrating the top predators of the ocean — with drinks of course.
Whether it be a cocktail, tea or an energy boosting drink, here are some Shark Week themed beverages you can sink your teeth into.
Barrett’s Alehouse — West Bridgewater
This restaurant is offering more than a handful of shark themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for Shark Week.
The Shark Week drinks include martinis, shark-a-ritas, sangria and more.
Pictured above is Barrett’s Fish Bowl, which includes Ketel One Citroen vodka, Truly Wildberry, blue curaçao with Nerds gravel and Swedish Fish. It comes in a 20 ounce fish bowl.
Take Charge Nutrition — Westfield
This nutritious and healthy smoothie and tea business in Westfield is adding fun to their menu with their tea fishbowls.
The Fishbowl Shark Attack Teas Shark Attack includes lime, lemon, blue blast, blue raspberry, Swedish fish and of course, shark gummies. It comes in special fishbowl cup, but only while supplies last.
The drinks are not alcoholic.
Fox Creek Tavern — Ipswich
This Tavern in Eastern Massachusetts is serving up not only shark themed cocktails but cocktail flights as well.
Customers will get to choose a medley of flavors garnished with a sweet. You might also find a small decorative shark in your drink to bring home with you.
Their shark themed drinks include the Great White Flight, Shark-a-Rita, Shark Bite Spritzer and Ocean Water Mocktail.
Ten percent of all shark drinks sold here will go directly to the Sea Shepard Conservation Society and to Oceana.
Summer Shack — Cambridge, Boston
Summer Shack is featuring a cocktail named Shark Attack.
The drink comes complete with white rum, dark rum, cointreau, passionfruit puree, orange juice, house sour mix, grenadine and angostura bitters. It cost $14.
The also have a Shack Fish Bowl consisting of pineapple vodka, pineapple juice, lime juice, coconut, blue curacao and a truly pineapple.
Nutrition First — Agawam
Here until July 23, Nutrition First in Agawam is introducing Shark Week bowls. The tea bowls are 40 ounces.
Customers will get to choose between the three following flavors.
- Coral Reef: tropical, pina colada, blue raspberry
- Shark Tank: blackberry, blue blast, lemonade
- Shark Attack: pomegranate, rainbow candy, strawberry
The drinks are a perfect option if you’re looking for a way to celebrate Shark Week without alcohol.
Outback Steakhouse — Statewide
This steak restaurant chain is serving up a shark attack themed drink called the Aussie JAWssie cocktail.
The cocktail is made with New Amsterdam Raspberry Vodka, Blue Curacao, a trio of citrus juices and a “dangerous dose of grenadine.”
The chain said the Aussie JAWssie is “fin-tastic.” You can see the drink here.
