September meeting of the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans

Agawam – Tracy Kochanski will be the demonstrator at the Wednesday Sept. 11, meeting of the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans. The meeting will take place at the Agawam Public Library 750 Cooper Street, will begin at 6:00pm in the Clini Community room.

Tracy Kochanski is a western MA-based multi-media artist whose work ranges from wood and clay to stop motion puppetry.

Her current medium of choice is wool – which she uses to needle felt her creations into life-like pet portraits and beautiful one of a kind, three-dimensional wool sculptures.

She also shares her craft through demonstrations and teaching to all experience levels. Tracy has a BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University.

Her work has been featured in numerous galleries and museums throughout the region including The New England Carousel Museum. She has also been featured in “Art Doll Quarterly”, “New England Antiques Journal”, and on the PBS show “Making it Here”.
