It was an eventful high school golf season that culminated in some championship fun for some local golfers.
Westfield High School senior golfer Brian MacIntosh shot a 3-over 75, falling just one stroke short of a tie with individual champion Shawn Amari (74), of North Middlesex, to finish runner-up in the MIAA Division I West Sectional championship on a cold, blustery late fall day at Chicopee Country Club.
