In the latest meeting between two intrastate rivals, South Dakota State vs the South Dakota will meet with a lot on the line Saturday.
This is the 117th meeting between the schools and there’s plenty on the line. Both schools come in undefeated at 4-0 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference and both are in top 5 in the FCS rankings.
The SDSU Jackrabbits, the defending FCS champions, are ranked first while the South Dakota Coyotes are ranked fourth.

The South Dakota Coyotes are 4-0 in their home stadium this year, having won six straight after dropping their opener at Missouri. Meanwhile, SDSU has a 21-game winning streak, with their last defeat coming against Iowa in 2022.
