It was nearly freezing when 73 runners scrambled from the start Sunday of the Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan Remembrance Run and Walk at Nathan Bill’s restaurant on Island Pond Road.
The road race and walk benefits a scholarship fund at Pope Francis High School in Springfield in Sullivan’s name.
