When Francisco Perez and his wife, Reyna Palacios, opened Cisco’s Cafe in the Amherst Mill District, they saw it as a new opportunity to bring breakfast food with a touch of Spanish influence to the area. But also running a pizza restaurant in North Amherst proved too much to handle, Perez said.
“I kind of want to let someone else take over, but I kind of want this person to kind of keep the breakfast idea in the way that I have it,” Perez said. “Restaurants with the Spanish flare are going to start to grow where I am since there’s nothing kind of like it.”
