SPRINGFIELD ― After a productive season at the plate and from the circle last year, East Longmeadow’s Reilly McCauley entered Thursday’s season-opener against Pope Francis softball eager to get the Spartans rolling in the right direction.
McCauley did just that, striking out 10 batters and shutting out the Cardinals in a dominant victory for No. 11 East Longmeadow, 17-0.
