The Houston Rockets selected Kentucky’s Reed Sheppard as the No. 3 overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft on Wednesday, June 26.
Fans can pre-order his jersey online at Fanatics now. The jersey is priced at $79.99 and will be shipped two to three weeks after the number is officially confirmed by the NBA. Confirmation will take place ahead of this year’s NBA regular season.
The 6-foot-2 Kentucky Guard is widely regarded as the top shooting prospect in this year’s draft pool, according to the AP. Sheppard made an astounding 52 percent from beyond the arc in his lone college season and excelled off the dribble and in catch-and-shoot scenarios.
Reed was the first American taken in this year’s draft after Risacher and Sarr. Sheppard averaged 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals while appearing in 33 games for the Wildcats. He shot 52.1% from 3-point range and made 83.1 percent of his free throws.

The Atlanta Hawks drafted 19-year-old Zaccharie Risacher from France as the No. 1 overall draft pick and the Washington Wizards took another French star, 7-footer Alex Sarr, as the second pick.
The second round of the draft will be on Thursday, June 27 starting at 4 p.m. ET.
The Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers have each lost a second-round pick due to a league penalty, meaning that there will be 58 selections made rather than the usual 60. Below is a full list of the draft order:
