Red Sox trade addition struggles again; ‘Not going the way I was expecting’

BOSTON — Luis García has allowed eight runs in 6 innings (12.00 ERA) over five relief outings since the Red Sox acquired him from the Angels at the trade deadline for four prospects.

The 37-year-old righty has allowed at least one run in four of his five outings for Boston. His worst outing came here Sunday against the Astros when he gave up five runs on five hits and one intentional walk while striking out one in 2 innings. Houston won 10-2 to sweep the three-game series at Fenway Park.
