SAN ANTONIO — One of the Red Sox’ top priorities this offseason is to improve their bullpen after ranking 24th out of 30 teams in reliever ERA (4.39).
Chief baseball officer Craig Breslow highlighted velocity, strikeout rate and the ability to generate swing and miss as three areas where the Boston bullpen lacked compared to the league’s top bullpens.
