Red Sox’ Alex Cora on hot hitter: ‘If this continues, it should be fun’

BOSTON — The 425-foot homer Masataka Yoshida crushed to right-center field (106.3 mph off the bat) made manager Alex Cora think back to the first half of last season.

“That swing, I was like, ‘This guy, he was pretty good in Japan; he was good for us the first part of the season last year. If this continues, it should be fun,’” Cora said.
