Powerball prize won in Massachusetts Wednesday

A $50,000 Powerball prize was won in Massachusetts Wednesday.

The winning ticket was purchased at Tewksbury Convenience Store, which is located at 160 Shawsheen St. in Tewksbury.

It wasn’t the only large prize won or claimed Wednesday.

A $1 million lottery prize was won off of a $5 scratch ticket sold in Massachusetts.

The prize was claimed Wednesday. It was from the game “$1,000,000 Stacks of Cash” and was sold at Nicole’s Food Store in Salem.

There was also a $100,000 prize from the game “300X” claimed after it was sold at Nouria Energy in Dorchester.

Overall, there were more than 700 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including 13 in Springfield, 24 in Worcester and 88 in Boston.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

So far, the largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $15 million. The prize was from the lottery’s “300X” scratch ticket game, and was claimed on June 13.
