The call came to serve our city’s students, and these educators not only answered the call, but in doing so, have gone above and beyond.
Twenty-one Springfield Public Schools educators have been named recipients of the 2024 Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award. Now in its 21st year, the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Excellence in Teaching program honors outstanding educators at all stages of their careers.
Superintendent of Schools Daniel Warwick expressed his pride and admiration of Springfield’s teachers. In a press statement, he shared, “These educators exemplify the commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment, and their impact goes beyond the classroom. We congratulate each awardee for their outstanding contributions to education in our community.”
