WEST SPRINGFIELD — 28 years had gone by since Pioneer Valley’s boys basketball team last appeared in a state title game, but on Tuesday night, the Panthers ended that drought.
The top-ranked Panthers stayed true to their defensive dominance, defeating No. 4 Drury, 49-23, in the Division V state semifinals and propelling themselves to their 25th consecutive win.
