If you drive by Pioneer Valley Brewery in Turners Falls, you might be struck by its fun and funky exterior: After all, it still looks largely like it did when it was a service station known as Chick’s Garage.
“We are really trying to encompass the building’s roots as a garage in its past life,” brewer Chris Fontaine said. “That gas pump overhang area outside is somewhat of a local landmark.”
