A person who was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Carver on Friday was flown to the hospital by a medical helicopter, according to authorities.
Firefighters responded to the crash on Cranberry Road in Carver in the afternoon Friday. EMS determined the driver suffered serious injuries, and a helicopter from Boston MedFlight was requested to fly the person to the hospital, the Carver Fire Department said in a statement.
A landing zone was set up on Myles Standish Drive, and the person was flown to a nearby trauma center for treatment, according to the department’s statement.
The Carver Police Department is investigating the crash. No further information was immediately made available to the public Friday.
