Western New England University has named Dean Hickey as vice president for advancement. As a member of the WNE senior leadership team, Hickey will lead fundraising and alumni engagement efforts and will join the university on Oct. 1.
He is currently serving as the vice chancellor for university advancement and executive director of the UMass Dartmouth Foundation at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Hickey was instrumental in helping the university secure a state investment of $73 million for renovation of its Liberal Arts & Sciences building.
