
Baystate Health President & CEO Peter Banko was elected to the Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association Board of Trustees.
Prior to joining Baystate Health in June 2024, Banko served as president and CEO of Centura Health across Colorado, Kansas and Utah, including 17 years with Catholic Health Initiatives as senior vice president of southeast operations and national chief integration officer, and president and CEO of St. Vincent in Little Rock, Arkansas. Previous senior leadership roles include CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas, PhyAmerica Physician Group in Durham, North Carolina, and Saint Clare’s Health Services in Denville, New Jersey.

Monson Savings Bank recently announced the promotion of Olivia K. O’Connor to assistant Monson branch manager.
O’Connor has worked in customer service for more than eight years. Prior to joining Monson Savings Bank a little more than three years ago, O’Connor worked at Rice Fruit Farm and Springfield Technical Community College as a tutor. O’Connor holds an associate degree in general studies from Springfield Technical Community College.
Her career in banking began in 2021 when she was hired as a customer service associate at the bank’s Hampden branch. She was promoted to CSA supervisor then briefly served as the East Longmeadow branch’s assistant branch manager before her most recent role.

Polish National Credit Union announces that Vanessa Stratton of Manchester, Conn., has joined the Polish National Credit Union as vice president of finance.
Stratton, a certified public accountant, has over a decade of experience in the banking industry. She earned her Master of Business Administration with a focus in finance and has held several key positions, including chief financial officer and treasurer at a community bank.

The pharmacists at Louis & Clark Pharmacy are prioritizing memory-loss care to meet the growing demands of their customer base with specialized training from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Four pharmacists at Louis & Clark — Dr. Kara James, president; Dr. Sarah Stevens, pharmacist supervisor; Dr. Tiffany Mason; and Dr. Ayeisca Reyes — recently received certification after completing in-person training and education at JGS Lifecare in Longmeadow.
The program requires re-certification every two years and is aimed at helping practitioners improve outcomes and quality of life for dementia patients.
