A person was killed in what police believe was a hit-and-run crash in Webster early Saturday morning, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s office
Police learned of the crash near 126 Lake St. around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Arriving officers found a pedestrian dead in the road with “injuries consistent with being struck by a car‚” Lindsay Corcoran, a spokesperson for the district attorney’s office, wrote in an email.
Investigators later found a car with crash damage in a nearby neighborhood, Corcoran said.
