LONDON — Rhamondre Stevenson will join Drake Maye in the Patriots huddle on game day for the first time at Wembley Stadium.
The running back is officially active after missing Maye’s debut with a foot injury. Stevenson returned to practice for the first time at Harrow School on Friday and said he believed he could’ve practiced on Thursday if the Patriots coaches had asked him to participate.
“I’m feeling good right now,” Stevenson said on Friday. “Had to take a couple days off, but I’m feeling like I should be ready to play.”

Elsewhere on the Patriots inactive list, Tyquan Thornton is a healthy scratch for the second straight week, and rookie wideout Javon Baker — who missed Friday’s practice with an illness — is out, too. Jerod Mayo scratched Jeremiah Pharms, while Sione Takitaki (knee) and Vederian Lowe (ankle) are also inactive. Joe Milton III will once again serve as New England’s emergency quarterback.
After a disappointing performance in Frankfurt last season, the Patriots are eager to get back into the win column on an international stage.
“I’m excited to be here,” Jerod Mayo said on Friday. “First of all, the international games have always been exciting for the guys, and I think it’s a good way for us to break up the season a little bit. The guys are working hard.”
