Beginning my sixth term as mayor of the city of Springfield, I am energized and driven to tackle the various opportunities that stands before the city at this moment.
My administration has worked to enhanced all core city services, invested over $750 million in new school construction — the most in the state, advanced over $5 billion in new economic development projects, infused $16 million in neighborhood improvement projects, allocated $30 million in financial relief to taxpayers and residents, and nearly $14 million to support local businesses to save and create new jobs. These are the building blocks upon which the city will continue to grow.
