One person died and another was seriously injured after an incident in North Andover on Monday afternoon, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
The incident happened at a home on Turnpike Street involving two victims. The injured victim was brought to the hospital, district attorney spokesperson Michael Keefe-Feldman said in a statement.
North Andover police and state police detectives are in the early stages of an investigation, Keefe-Feldman said.
Authorities are asking the public to stay away from the area.
No further details were released by the Essex district attorney’s office as of 7 p.m.
