NORTHAMPTON — Northampton’s Malia Silver and Ludlow’s Logan Walsh both finished atop all of their competitors in their long-distance races Sunday evening during Week 1 of the PVIAC indoor track and field season.
Silver finished first in the 1-mile run, outrunning second place by 10 seconds. The freshman clocked in at 5:51.41 in her first race of both the season and her career.
