WORCESTER ― A new rivalry has grown between Westfield and Wayland’s boys volleyball teams, as meeting in the Division II state tournament has now become a common occurrence.
Last season, the two teams faced off in the finals and it was the Bombers who had the edge to become state champs. This time around, the two teams met again in the semifinal round for a rematch, with a trip to the title game on the line.
