TURNERS FALLS ― With the bases loaded in the bottom of the first and a run already on the board, Franklin Tech’s Cordelia Guerin walked up to the plate with a golden opportunity to ignite her team.
Guerin did not miss out, slapping a two-RBI double to open up a nine-run rally for No. 2 Franklin Tech softball, powering the Eagles to a dominant 20-2 victory over No. 3 Drury in the Western Massachusetts Class C semifinals on Thursday.
