In what was a very evenly matched game that was scoreless until the very end, No. 18 Newton North field hockey fell to No. 15 Acton-Boxborough on Thursday in the first game of the MIAA D1 statewide field hockey tournament.
It would take two ten minute seven vs. seven overtime periods and a shootout to determine the winner, and the Revolution scored two goals in the shootout to advance to the Round of 16.
