SPRINGFIELD — Over his 38-year career in the Massachusetts Trial Court system, John Sumner Gay found something he had craved all of his life.
As one of two adopted children, Gay was hungry for a large family. He found it in his trial court colleagues and a particularly tight-knit group in the Springfield District Court.
