New development projects approved in the city of Boston this month will create an estimated 320 new housing units, including 170 units (53.1%) of affordable housing.
At the Boston Planning and Development Agency Board’s monthly meeting on Thursday, the board approved a slate of new projects, including a hotel and new medical facilities in addition to affordable and market-rate housing. According to the board and planning documents, the developments will create about 683 construction jobs and 654 permanent jobs.
