The fastest-growing sport in the country is about to make a major splash in Massachusetts.
Award-winning chef Chris Coombs and founder of Bosse Sports in Sudbury, D.J. Bosse, are coming together to open a 97,000-square-foot pickleball complex in the former Neiman Marcus property at the Natick Mall this fall.
The massive complex will feature 21 courts, multiple restaurants, a cafe and several themed bars for “entertainment, socializing and refueling,” a press release sent to MassLive reads.
“Between Chef Coombs’ four-star fine-dining background and Bosse’s sports industry expertise, this new venture is bringing the best of their respective worlds together to offer an unparalleled experience that extends far beyond the courts,” the release continued. “In the process, the pair are defining an entirely new category of excellence for pickleball, entertainment and recreation.”
There will be four dining concepts under the Bosse roof, including a restaurant featuring rustic Italian dishes and an all-day café with coffee, smoothies and Parisian-inspired baked goods. A sports bar with a lounge will also let athletes catch the game while enjoying shareable menu items and full dishes.
Bosse is slated to open in the second half of 2024. More information about the complex can be found online and by following Bosse on Instagram.
