A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a car Saturday evening in Springfield, according to police.
Officers responded to the crash at the intersection of West and Plainfield streets around 6 p.m., Springfield police wrote on social media. The motorcyclist was taken to Baystate Medical Center, but later died of his injuries.
The driver of the car involved in the crash stayed at the scene, police said. Springfield police are investigating the crash.
