GREAT BARRINGTON ― With Monday’s game between Monument Mountain softball and Hoosac Valley tied entering the top of the sixth, the Spartans quickly found themselves in a game-turning and possibly season-defining moment.
The Hurricanes had two runners standing in scoring position with just one out, on the edge of taking their first lead of the game.
