Missing Lawrence woman Carol Flaz was found dead in a wooded area of Haverhill early Tuesday evening, Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker announced Tuesday night.
Authorities have arrested 35-year-old Lawrence resident Christian Montero on witness intimidation and misleading an investigation charges in connection with the case, and they expect to charge him with Flaz’s murder as the investigation continues, Tucker said during a press conference. The district attorney declined to specify Montero’s relationship to Flaz Tuesday night, but said they lived in the same apartment building.
