The Fish sisters prefer to be on different teams during practice, but when it comes to game-time situations, Victoria, a junior, and Sophie, a sophomore, have that way about them as teammates – and sisters – to know where the other is and how to utilize each others’ strengths.
Victoria, a forward and major rebounder for the Wildcats, gets her scoring in the paint frequently. In Milton’s regular season finale against Cambridge Rindge & Latin on Tuesday, she scored the team’s first 11 points in the third quarter – scoring eight before Milton’s opponents got a basket – to help kill an eight-point deficit at halftime. She ended with 23 points and 15 rebounds overall.
