Medical journal at last reckons with its silence on Nazis (Editorial)

When the New England Journal of Medicine set out last year to call out racism and prejudice in the fields it covers, it needed to start at home.

In a recent issue, the highly respected publication explained that its own editors mostly looked away from the horror of the Nazi regime in Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.
