BOSTON – Prior to Sunday night’s Division II state championship game at TD Garden, the Medfield’s girls hockey team was understandably nervous.
“This being my senior year and being the first Medfield girls varsity hockey team to ever be here at the Garden, was just unreal,” Medfield captain Maeve Kelly said. “Nerves were definitely there in warmups but I think after warms we all said we’re dialing in.”
